Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Dental Front Desk Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication within the practice.

Responsibilities

As a Front Office staff member, you play an important role in our office and  perform a wide range of responsibilities, to include:

  • Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our practice management software.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Assist with insurance verification and claims processing.
  • Handle patient payments and financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years of front office experience preferably in a dental setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.
